2024 Annual Scholarship Application:
The application will be live on March 1st, 2024 through April 30th, 2024. We look forward to your submission!Serve Credit Union is proud to once again offer scholarships to members and children of members!
There will be a total of three (3) $1,000 scholarships available.
Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books and other educational expenses. Entries must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicant must be a member or child of a member of Serve Credit Union.
2. Serve Credit Union staff and their family members are not eligible.
3. Applicant must be entering college or currently enrolled full time (12 credit hours) in an undergraduate program or enrolled in a vocational or technical institution.
4. Past recipients are not eligible for renewal scholarship awards.
5. Applicant is required to write an essay of approximately 300-500 words on the following topic:
”Serve Credit Union, at 93 years, is one of the oldest in the state, and our vision of “Impacting the lives of our members and communities for generations to come” remains unchanged. While everyone’s needs from their financial institution may vary, we know there are certain products, services, conveniences, business standards, levels of community engagement, etc. that are a non-negotiable for you when selecting your Primary Financial Institution.
What steps should Serve Credit Union take or maintain to be recognized as your Primary Financial Institution and Trusted Financial Partner through all of your life stages? Please be specific in your response.”
Before completing the form below, please read the instructions carefully. Scholarship recipients will be chosen by an independent committee and announced at the end of May. Your photo and names may be featured on our newsletter, Facebook page, website, etc.
