by celebrating some of Serve CU’s 2023 Successes!- Mary represented SCU at the Local Hero’s Night at the Iowa Wild
- We sent out 105 Blue Shoe Boxes in January and 110 in June, with 7 graduating to the BSB Financial Coach Program
- SCU welcomed Michael Weeks as our Administrative Coordinator and Kat Sukup as our CFO
- Reese completed her Johnston HS School to Work internship with SCU
- The Urbandale Branch celebrated its 5 year anniversary on May 1st
- SCU hosted its first Member’s Day Out at Easter Seals Camp Sunnyside
- SCU launch a Financial Responders program to help SCU members feel confident in achieving their goals through the FREE Membership Academy
- Jami Weems was re-elected to another 3 year term to the Iowa Credit Union League Board
- SCU served 625 meals, a record number, at the Annual Fall Tailgate
- Hayley appeared on Hello Iowa for a segment on SCU’s commitment to member’s financial wellness
- SCU Team members used their Volunteer Time Off at Credit Union Day at the IA State Fair, Cops Classic, and the YMCA, to name a few!
The Santa Claus at SCU Family Fundraiser donated over $8,000 in cash, gift cards and gifts to the St Ores and Bonta families
